These new rechargeable hand warmers are remarkable. I just got my Ocoopa 1400 mAh. for $35.... Two little, palm sized bundles of intense heat. They come with a "case"/ charging port. 14 hrs of heat, and 60 hrs of heat with the case. Three levels of heat.. the hottest is too hot to hold, but can be used between clothing layers to warm your body. The middle heat setting is perfect for your jacket pockets. I can't recommend a specific model , Amazon has lots of options, but dang! These little things will help keep you warm...big time.

i have one too. got tired of buying fuel for the Old Jone warmers and then find that when i wanted to warm my hands it had gone out. I dont know if that odor from the fuel helped or hindered my catch rate. My son has one up on the hand warmers. He has had a Milwaukee Jacket that uses the same battery as their tools for the last four years. He has been amazed at how durable it has been.

@Brute, @CRO,

How long have you had them? Are they Durable? Do you recommend them? Which model do you like?

I think they might work for some older fishing friends I hang with.

Happy Holidays All.

I’ve had the Ocoopa for about 5 years. Use it constantly in the winter and it’s reliable and durable.

I run mine on one side only and at the lowest heat setting and its more than enough to keep my hands toasty. They heat up instantly so I use them pretty judiciously and each one will last several days. I don't cast left hand up yet, but I'll certainly hold my rod with my left during the swing and get my right in the pocket for some warmth.

Heaters and warmers are a guides best friend! Because guest aren't breaking rods, losing gear, etc... they are just wanting to get closer to the heater or keeping their gloves on... 😄

Just slightly longer ownership. Used one in the warehouse before I retired. Gave a few as gifts that got used heavily.

Also note, certain models can be used as a power bank to keep your phone charged if needed.
