Well it wasn’t a very big hit since it didn’t use batteries, make noise or move…but that’s ok for a four year old. I’m sure she’ll appreciate things more as she gets older. I’m good with that! Let’s see what happens next year!

They will absolutely outgrow any other gift they received this year, but they'll have groot in their college dorm and as a garden warden when they're 30. If you want them to love it now, coat it in glitter and give it a horn. And that may something for grandpa to reflect on as 4 turns to 5. But you're clearly looking furthur, and that has a 100% hit rate given time.
Shout out to grandpas who make stuff with their hands for people they love! And what a lucky granddaughter to know that's what grandpa's do! Merry Christmas
