Got to see some very cool old wood Greenheart spey rods yesterday. I had seen one as a wall hanger before but hadn't seen them in action. I didn't cast them, they are heavy and slow but it was cool to see them in action. The rod is spliced together, like some bamboo rods. No ferrules!
