Good slam.....

Well...today was a good slam, not a grand slam. Same lake, fished from 5:30-8:15, 5 trout, 3 yellow perch, 1 big crappie and 1 bluegill. Missed at least 20 take downs.....C&R’d some on the wet line, bobber and emergers. Still so nice to be on the water!

That's cool. It's fun trying to get 'em all. I though about your prior post the day I got these, Finally warmwater thread . I was still missing the red ear and brown bullhead for the full slam.

What a nice day to end summer fishing! I had the slam again, same lake…..8 trout, 2 crappie, 1 bass and 1 bluegill. Most on the indicator using a 5’5” bamboo rod with my newly repaired St. George jr!

Thanks VAGABOND, coach Carroll still has me on the bench….not quite first string yet. My finger isn’t happy with me today…..oh well.
