Good place to stay in Yakima?

I'm traveling to Yakima for a couple days in mid-July for work. I've never stayed there before. I prefer family run Bed and Breakfasts but am open to hotels, too. Any recommendations on a nice place to stay near good food? Recommendations on food welcome, too.

I live in Yakima and there is a home to suites by Marriott and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
