Not really a pay it forward deal, but if anyone wants to take a shot at repairing a Sage DS 5 wt, I have a one with a broken tip for pick-up in Portland.

Pretty sure I threw it away like a month ago. Will check when I get home on Sunday.

How far down the tip did it break? Like halfway or just at the tip top?
If the latter, its a stupid easy fix and I'd be happy to do it for you (just glue on a tip top, wrap and epoxy)

Ok, I threw out the front half of the two piece rod. But kept the butt end. Why I have no idea. I do have a 5 weight front half from a rod that broke like 15 years ago. It could make a decent rod with a little work maybe? Yours you want them.
