Go big or go home, right..?

Bob Rankin

Wandering the country with rifle and spey rod.
I had a god morning with some seriously cold feet. I was fishing the local catch and kill hog lake with some truly big flys. It seemed to work, go figureπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I kept one for the smoker.2CE9CD73-D656-437F-934E-DB17FA0BFB44.jpeg35571B61-410B-4FA9-A6B3-3D1CE35AD623.jpeg

I fished a put n take lake this morning from a scree slope, and I fished several something "big" under a bobber - no love, none. Not a sniff, touch, strike, bite. In fact, a couple times I could see a fish cruise and cast nearby then witness a classic "what the heck is that thing" refusal. Well done, Bob!
