Gear I love! Old, new.. what are your favorites that you won't part with?

When they lay me down to rest, that rod goes in with me. Absolutely love it, its indestructible, demanding yet forgiving. A joy to fish.
 
I'll never part with my 590-4 RPL. I don't actually fish it much these days. (In spite of what many people say, it's far from Sage's "best rod ever," and I'm dismayed by the heavy swing weight.) But it's deeply embedded in my fishing roots, so it stays.

BTW, I have that same Lamson Velocity, although mine is the V1.5.

sort of out of the box here, but the memory of the first fly i tied for which i caught a fish on. X-Caddis size 14, caught a 12" rainbow on the cedar river my first year fly fishing. I tied the x-caddis because it was easier for me than the elk hair caddis.

I feel the exactly same about my Sage RPL.

They make another rod that is a 9'6" 8 wt they called the rivermaster. In my mind the two rods kinda make a set. I bought one a few years ago.
It's pretty nice but it doesn't have near the power, almost more of a 7wt.

I thought about extending the handle and making it into a switch rod, maybe for surf fishing; 10’6” or something like that.
 
My Meiser switch will stay with me. And probably the Farlex that I have paired with it, although my Bougle did me right this winter. Wish I still had my old Orvis Silver Label mid-flex 8 wt.

The Dalmore 18 is long gone.. the bottle had Glen Fohdry 12 Mizanura from Total Wine! One of the few TW bottles I will buy now that I've left there!!
