Now that the season is winding down on some types of fishing, here's a reminder that you might want to pull the batteries out of electronics that won't see use again until next spring. Sadly, my own reminder was pulling out some cold-weather gear Saturday and discovering that my xenon Aqua Strobe had been left in a pocket since last winter, battery included.
