Free kit for someone who will have a use for it. Still has the paper on it, never been used. Might make a cool decoration for the right person. Located in Edmonds

Looks like a post WW2 Japanese fly rod combo from what I can tell from the pictures….

That is neat that the kit is so complete. I remember my father winning a similar rod on a tavern punchboard and giving it to me.

My father brought one of these back from "occupied Japan" in the early 1950's. That was the first cane rod I cast, probably around 1968. It lasted one day on Chikamin Creek near the Chiwawa River Road, before it broke. It simply snapped in two on a forward stroke. I felt so bad!
