Navy Aircraft to Fly Over Super Bowl LVII

SAN DIEGO - Three U.S. Navy tactical aircraft squadrons will conduct an integrated flyover at the conclusion of the National Anthem during Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.,

Living in Lemoore with a population of 25,000, it’s common to see some of the women pilots, officers and enlisted personnel in daily life. They are a great example of our younger generations.
 
Anyone who got their wings and qualified above the FAR line has my respect and are among the very best of Americans.
 
Fly overs are cool, back when I was a kid I had an older cousin who did a flyover in the F117 of our local airshow, back when it was still sort of a secret jet. He had to fly from Arizona, do a couple passes then back to AZ cause they wouldn't allow the public to look at it on the ground. IMO the only thing worth watching on superbowl Sunday is the fly over.
 
I've had a few experiences of Warthogs flying over when fishing on Lake Roosevelt. Unreal in how loud they are and they just pop out of nowhere.

I was in Lakewood one time when Joint Base Lewis McCord had an airshow. I don't know for sure what jet it was, but I'll say F22. I could not believe how loud it was prior too and then during take off. It was incredible.
 
Very cool! I'm sure it won't sit well with Tucker but that makes it even better.

One of the cool things about living in the Gorge is they do a lot of training runs. Jets coming in fast and low can surprise the hell of you.
 
At the American Legion baseball nationals a few years ago, a local historic aircraft group flew a set of biplanesin military colors in formation over the field at the beginning of final game. It took a while. But it was way cool, and when thy did a second pass in the first inning, the umps called time do we and the players could sll watch. Flyovers are cool. Even at 45 mph.
 
It's cool that the pilots are women. Can't say I like hearing those jets, though. The EA-18G Growlers (and the F-18s that used to fly over one of my VT fishing holes) are insanely loud.
 
I am old enough to freak out when the pilot on my flight is a women! But now women have 1000's of hours of flight time.

I work with a great young lady who flew a Cobra down the streets of Fallujah...I am so impressed with her.

Years ago I had just finished fishing one of the ponds between Bingen and Lyle and was walking back to my truck when a C-5 Galaxy comes screaming down past me at about the height of the railroad tracks.

Here in Pueblo and along the Arkansas River it's helicopters. Blackhawks, Apache and occasionally a chinook.

Loved watchin’ ‘em taxi, take off, fly around, and land.
U-2s were close enough to the ground to read the lettering…we were in their landing path.
