Fly Selection/Pass & Lone Lake

I've had fairly good luck at both lakes over the last few years starting the day with a size 12 Simi-seal leech in blood red or black. I will size up or down sometimes or switch to a damsel fly nymph or Stillwater nymph in size 12 or 14. Do any of you have any flies that work well for you? Do you ever fish with anything larger that a size 10.

For years my go to fly has been a Carey pattern, some as large as an 8.

I showed my best fly for Pass and someone called it a "glorified Woolly Bugger"
So...glorify a Bugger and fish it in #8 & #6.

Black Wooley Bugger on a 3/5 sink line stripped out to 1st color. Was getting nothing on Nymph and as soon as I switched I couldn't keep them off the bugger. Great time for a newbie at fly fishing.
