This is truly disconcerting and may prompt a reassessment of the implications and consequences surrounding the upcoming trip chasing dikerun browns.Best keep an eye on the Netherlands too. Things just geert wilders.
an anti government TV pundit with zero experience running anything other than his mouth is elected president of a flailing country to run their government...what could possibly go wrong?
the core issue is that we are so globally enterwined we no longer control our own economy. While I think the guy is a full scale nutter even by my standards I also think voters of Argentina see that the damage has already be done. A vote in desperation for anything different. We should take this tale as cautionary for our own yard. When your screw the economy into a wall good and hard people will try any alternative even if it's crazy
I guess they don’t shit in the woods…Me too...

Not disputing or even really weighing in on most of what you posted above. I mainly wanted to just make the statement that madmen get elected in mad bad times. We've seen thoroughly and throughout history that desperate voters vote for crazy leaders. They themselves might be quite level. But in desperate times vote for a madman to see if it helps.the core issue is that we are so globally enterwined we no longer control our own economy.
8 million workers are currently employed in the US by over a thousand registered Foreign Enterprises who in 2022 alone have invested over 330 Billion in establishing or expanding businesses here in the US.
Factor in our trade imbalances, a tethered global banking system, 10 million foreign entrepreneurs living here and banking their profits offshore, the top 500 companies in the US with currently over 3 trillion parked offshore to avoid paying US income taxes, a huge immigrant base who send their earnings home instead of putting that money into the local economy, a Fed who tries to control inflation by inducing recession, and millions of rental homes being swooped up by REIT's who keep local rents jacked up...and the boil on top of it all, an incompetant House and Congress stuck in a cultural war that is doing zero to address the core problems in our economy.
I can come down and run your personal security detail.. I mean I've got some bad assed Costa's and a beard! I might have to fish though, or at least smoke some cigars and drink some scotch.. only seems prudent! LOL!I'll be down there in February; Las Pampas Lodge in Chubut.
What exactly am I supposed to be looking for?
I figure to just make myself scarce if I hear chainsaws...
I appreciate the offer, lol!I can come down and run your personal security detail.. I mean I've got some bad assed Costa's and a beard! I might have to fish though, or at least smoke some cigars and drink some scotch.. only seems prudent! LOL!

Is this from a recent bank heist?…I appreciate the offer, lol!
Given an inadequate security detail budget, however, I'll have to rely on my own badassedness...which actually works better when I take my Costas off

Spent time in Alaska and the Yukon Territory...the standard advice to climb a 10' taiga tree to escape a grizz is an old joke. That wouldn’t help…
