My SFC has a comfy inflatable seat that gives me 3 air chambers. At 40° air & 42° water temps, neoprene waders over fleece lined trousers and a midweight merino base layer have kept my lower half toasty.

Don't know about tube clothing, but everything I've ever read about kayak colors says color doesn't affect catch rates. So I suspect clothes don't either.

I have a friend that wears camo on all fishing trips. I wear whatever I feel like wearing. I catch as many fish as he does. He tells me , you'd catch more fish if you wear camo, and I'd say if I got any more fish you would catch no fish. Lol.
He says yeah, I bought all this camo gear so now i've got to wear it.

"Some fools fool themselves i guess, they're not foolin' me".

When he starts crawling around on his hands and knees, that's when the tin foil cap is stuck on his head.
 
I’ve got Outcast boats with both the inflatable seat and the foam seat. I just add a thin seat cushion to both to make more comfortable on my old, bony ass.

The info below is from Outcast's website for some of their float tubes. I think the key point is that the seat bladders are oversized - you don't need an exact fit. And since these bladder aren't your primary floatation, you don't have to be as concerned about materials, construction, etc. The dimensions in the table below should be a good starting place. Amazon has a lot of inexpensive inflatable cushions to choose from.

I did replacement the foam inserts in an older Creek Company 420 float tube with a set of inflatable seat bladders (also oversized) from Creek Company. I liked having a smaller deflated raft. The primary benefit for me was that I sat more out of the water than I had with the foam. Also, the Creek Company foam seat was in two pieces which didn't seem to hold the sides of the float tube apart as well. Everything about the change to inflatable bladders was positive for me.

I still would have required an additional thin foam cushion for the bony ass issue though. I've progressed to that point with the inflatable seat on my Fish Cat Scout inflatable seat and am currently exploring my options!!

I have had a Super Fat Cat for maybe 15 years now with the inflatable seat. At one point someone gave me the foam seat that fits it and I tried it out. One trip was enough and it went in the landfill. I don't have any excess ass padding and the foam seat felt like the bleachers at a Little League game. The inflatable seat is far more comfortable. As far as warmth is concerned, a 1/2 inch of closed cell foam is enough to isolate any cold that might come through the air filled seat. I have found that double sided carpet tape will attach the foam to the SFC seat and remain in place for years despite getting wet on occasions.

Another advantage of adding a closed cell foam pad for us old guys is that you can easily cut a section out of the foam and create a Prostate Relief Zone. Don't laugh-you may not be there yet but if you fish long enough you will be!
