First bass 2026

I picked up my pro bass jersey from the dry cleaner just in time to make it out this morning with @jasmillo

First time out on this lake, we figured it was still somewhat early but what the heck, we are sponsored pros after all

3/4 for me, decent sized fish. Jason bagged the biggest one of the day, the sponsors rejoiced.

Definitely not on fire yet but enough action to make it worth the trip. Some bass and a solid crappie as well. Two of the bass put very respectable bends in the 7 weight.

Looks like a great day. Do you have any photos of your "bass boat" posted on PNWFF, and what's the make? The small bits in the fish photos are intriguing.

My “bass boat” is a 17 foot Boston Whaler, my frameless pontoon, or tube. Good enough for the 6-10 times a year I target bass.

Today we were in Lou’s boat though, which is a much more unique vessel than the ones I own. I’ll let him describe.
