Hit a local lake with @Kfish looking for our first bass of 2025. It was the earliest either of us have fished this lake so we were not sure how it would fish. Overall, solid numbers wise but small fish overall. Almost all fish were caught on a simple all chartreuse clouser. Nice change of pace from PS though. Probably give it a few weeks before heading back to see if any bigger fish are up in their normal spots. My completely uneducated guess is the bigger fish are still out deep? Who knows, neither of us knows shit from shinola when it comes to targeting bass
