Visited a north end foothills lake this Wednesday to exercise a few rod's that hadn't seen action for a few years. I fished a Monsos built 8' 5wt on a floating line. Several of the lakes recent stockers were eager to put a bend in the beautifully crafted rod. Fish were taken on various soft hackle flies. Nice to get out on such a lovely day until the wind blew me off the lake.
