QIN presumably can do whatever they want, but I don't think they adjust their schedule according to anything WDFW does. What? WDFW cancel a NT gillnet fishery? Haha; this is Region 6 we're talking about. Why would WDFW ever do such a thing? This is old data, but R6 spends a quarter million dollars a year to manage a NT net fishery that grosses $178,000 ex-vessel a year, average.

Along with your potential solution to the Fulton River Spawning Channel, the economics or cowboy net fishing in region 6 may be my favorite rant of yours.
I am a bit disappointed that you kept it as tame as you did.

I was literally in a room full of far right christian conservatives addressing transgender policy in schools when you posted this.

I also never made any claim or assumption about what you do or do not know - you're the one who's assuming what I know. Again, we're on the same side for this issue. I'm sorry you're offended about a suggestion I made. Now maybe it's best to let it go.

As the parent of 2 young girls I applaud your service keeping dicks out of girls restrooms and off girls sports teams but I'm wondering what the relevance is here?
 
Ok....... So anyway the rivers open back up. That's sweet. The chum are in so the silver fishing in the tributaries just became a tougher selection game. However don't interpret this as a complaint I'm happy with any fish bending my rod at this point in the game.

The cowboy net fishery in this region has been a source of worthy rants. It's rant worthy. Like I stated earlier I got no issue with the QIN doing their thing in spite of the closure. They have a treaty right. Many may not like it. I may not like it when late coho are getting caught while pursuing hatchery steelhead in the late fishery. The fact remains they are exercising a treaty right. Might not have been a smart deal but a deal's a deal. The non tribal net fishery is another matter. What is their pull? How is this still happening?

Will you be applying your skills in the arena of wolf work with Francine? Is Palestine and Israel on your agenda next? Are the rumours true that both parties have agreed to bring back the presidential debate in 2024 provided you are the moderator? I for one am just glad that in such a fractured country there are individuals like yourself keeping the fibers connected.
