Epic hunt with my twin daughters

Years from now the harvest of that game will be the least consequential element of that hunt. I'll never forget the experience and details of my 13 year olds first successful deer hunt. The animal, though appreciated, has now taken a backseat.

Thread 'Epic trip update'

1000015057.jpgWe had a bet going. That if all three of us got a deer, that we could get matching tattoos. I was almost 100% sure that wasn't going to happen. Our luck is usually to not even see a buck. 3? No. And one would have to be a decent buck - they can have a spike, but I won't. Welp, they won. 2 days into a 4 day hunt. We had a little free time. So we drove across the border to Idaho and did a thing....

Hope I don't seem out of line, but this hunter appreciates seeing young women embracing the hunter/ gatherer role...and with big smiles.
