Out on Orcas Island for a few days and half expected to wake up to cloud cover for the eclipse. We got lucky with some morning sun and scrambled down to the beach with coffee in hand and a colander in tow. Success! Science!
These are great pictures. I stayed in Portland, but it was foggy and overcast, and the sun was its usual hazy bright area. However, when I used my viewer, I was able to see the outline of the eclipse.
