The club received the below update on the East Fork Lewis River Reconnection Project from Jasmine Zimmer-Stucky (Public and Legislative Affaire Manager - Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership.
Hi Clark Skamania Fly Fishers -
The East Fork Lewis River Reconnection Project is underway! A temporary bridge will be installed across the river in the first week of May. The bridge will not provide safe clearance for boats to travel under. This will prevent boats from passing through the project area safely. All boats must exit the East Fork at Daybreak.
We are placing signs, issuing press releases, and posting to iFish. Could you please help us get to word out to CSFF members about this issue? Are there other fishing sites that I should post to?
We're also getting very close to developing a plan for fish salvage so please stay tuned for a lot of opportunities to get in on that action.
