Earthquakes abound!

We now have had three earthquakes south of town with the largest at 3.12. Several others in the NCW including Okanogan, Methow Valley, Loomis, and various other isolated locations pushing 4 on the R-scale. This is Mother Nature telling politicians beware of Environmental cutbacks!

Another house shaker this morning about 1:00 a.m. and up to "37" quakes up and down the valley. Whole lotta shakin goin on!

In the Highlands above Oroville, I was awakened last night with a bit of shaking. That’s the first time it’s ever happened up here. At first, I thought I was dreaming, but then realized that was what woke me up. From what I see on the web the epicenter was near Tonasket. A 3.2.

The My Shake app I have from Berkeley is set to alarm at Mag 3. within 150 miles. It never even went off and I know your area is within that scope.

Maybe I need to chew on Berkeleys ear a bit.....
