durable fingerless sun gloves

I have owned 12wt, Buff and Blackstrap gloves. I like the Blackstrap gloves the best, but they are pretty much done. The Buff gloves did OK before the finger seems started to separate. The 12wt gloves not so much. I bought the Blackstraps out of a clearance bin. Seems they don't make them anymore. What are your favorites?

Patagonia. I haven't had them that long, but I'm sure they would replace them for free if the stitching came apart

I have some Columbia's (but I also get regular access to their employee store, so never pay full retail). I like them a lot, but they're really not built to last (or at least don't appear to be). My pair of Simms (old model they don't make any more--they have the palm cut out, which I like from more of a tactile sense with line management) are better from a "lasting" standpoint. I think I have a pair of Buff's that I just don't wear as much, no real reason.

I like the Buffs. They may not be as long lasting as others, but I like that they are so thin and I barely notice wearing them.

I think that's why I just wear my Columbia's too, super thin...I suspect once they die, I'll start using the Buffs if I can't find the Simms ones....lol

I have and can recommend the glacier gloves and the Simms; both are about 4 years old so they might not be available anymore. I wear the glaciers when I'm rowing, they seem to be 'sturdier' and hold up longer but not so thick as to hinder holding a rod grip.. I wear the Simms for walk-n-wade and powered boat trips; they're thinner and have the palm cutouts.
I typically don't have any trouble casting with sun gloves on. I do struggle managing line with them on, particularly with 2-handers where I'm trying to keep loops of line on each finger.
