Knocked my single hand swinging rig off the back of the watermaster. Went on a S&R mission the next day but no bueno. So looking for a replacement on these items.

Calling Rod S---, a gentleman who dredged up a rod, reel and line from Amber Lake after it went zipping out of someone's Hopper-II. Rod snagged the rod a year later and reunited it with its owner. Good luck!

Never know, might still get dredged up.

My home tailwater river currently has this algae "Didymosphenia geminata" known as (didymo) in the slower sections. So it's going to be enveloped eventually with that crap....🤕

I have also lost a rod & reel off the back of a Watermaster in a lake. After @Cowlitz Bottomfeeder first posted about these foamies I bought 3. The float doesn't interfere with casting or line management. I used some dual-sided velcro - hook & loop cable ties to snugly secure the float. An old 6 weight IMX rod & reel with a sinking line floats high.

Maybe get some "Mini Skater Retractable Cord Key Rings" Off Amazon. About a dollar apiece.
Carabiner one to each side of the boat. When not using the rod, wrap the cord around the rod a few times, near the reel and then back onto itself. You wont lose a rod ever again. Phil Rowley is who turned me onto these via his Stillwater P videos, on You Tube. He calls them umbilical cords. Make sure you get the plastic clip models so they dont scratch the rod finish. Great also for securing nets/bags,tools etc. I have them on my Pontoon and on the Driftboat. Got them last year. Saved me an overboard rod just this week.

Forgot to add....sorry about the rod.
