Doesn't pay to be a Thug

So the wife and the girls are at Wildhorse playing bingo and the kids are gone so since I don't gamble much I decided to go fish. Didn't feel like going to church by myself but I thought playing in the living waters might be the ticket today. Stopped by the market and got a coffee, looked at the liquor shots, and thought "sure no playing if you get into that".
Got to the parking area, got my waders on, strung my rod, and just as I was tying on a fly two people pulled up and without a word headed down to the river. Poop. Well, off to another spot and go for a long walk to some solitude and spot for some reverence.

Started off with the knuckle dragging straggle stone I just tied and found one of the usual players pretty quick.

Now everything was cool until I hooked this guy. Not too long into the fight a big bully comes up behind it and tries to pull it's pants off. I can feel the weight. It lets go, swoops around and tries to take it sideways. Poor little fish, I hoist it clear of the water and net it.

While I'm in a protected spot behind a rock unhooking the poor little guy I hear a tail slap about 3' away on the other side of the rock. like "Dang it". Well, once it showed what kind of character it was going to be I silently cut off the stone and tied on a bi-color jiggy craw. I waited as long as I could stand, and started casting. Made a half dozen casts to where I thought it came from, then the leader stops. I give a slight wrist flip. Darn, hung up. Oh, wait, SHIT!

Nice going Tom, both on the toothy bull and on taking it one day at a time!
