Does Coyote Urine repel rats?

I’ve tried a few things….Uncle Ned’s whiz, and other non poison repellants. Like DimeBrite said👆they don’t last long…maybe a month or three depending on the rain.

Traps…both snap and live/humane are indiscriminate.

I also don’t wanna use a poison because of the feathered predators around….so I just added a scope for my pellet gun ( cuz my aging eyes suck and I couldn’t hit shit with the iron sights.)

I used to go to a crab plant that would occasionally have a crab escape in the night. The rats would move in. The aftermath was brutal and I always wished I could witness the battle. AI slop16733977197809202094 2.png

how effective are they? i love the idea but at a practical range for hitting a rat without spooking it first? i can't picture what those pellets could kill if they spread out much, and if they don't spread out much - with a target the size of a rat don't you need to be as accurate as you would be with a regular projectile? and if so - isn't a regular projectile the better option?
