Do you know anybody needing Heating Oil?

I am decommissioning my oil furnace very soon. Unfortunately my oil company filled my outside tank recently and I can have a company come out and take it and the tank. I would like to get some of the $$$ back since the oil company said they don’t want it back. I need to pay my oil bill but willing to take a hit if there is a need. Maybe you know of a senior or elderly person on fixed income?
In February this year I was charged $5.19/gal. Don’t know the current price of heating oil at today’s price.
You would need to pump it out into some kind of container.
There was about 75-100 gallons in the tank before they filled it so guessing there is about 175 still in there.

Let me know soon or else I will call a company and take the loss.
Thanks
Mark

Tanks by Dallas donates the oil to slderly and low income households when decommissioning tanks, if you're going that route and can't find a paying taker for the oil.
The recovered oil is delivered at no cost directly to the tanks of local low-income individuals and seniors on their community waiting list...so it's not a bad way to go.
Good luck...

Delivered June 1 fuel price was 6.75/gal. Hopefully I will save in the near future. My oil company has me on a monthly payment plan of $345.
