Started decorating the tree yesterday by putting on the lights. But one-half of the larger string doesn't light up. Can't figure out why. Tried the usual bulb replacement, etc. and it still doesn't work. So the project was halted until I go out today and buy another string of Christmas tree lights.

Have to find the lights first, probably packed away somewhere. Already have purple blinking lights around the big TV, just need a string on top across the patio slider. No tree.

not so much this year....I've got a lot of stuff going on at work, so it likely just won't get done. We still haven't put up our tree (yeah, we got a fake one with lights----don't judge until you've tried it multiple years in a row...lol). probably will put it up this weekend.

We have not had a real tree in 25+ years which I am thoroughly bummed about. One of my daughters is very allergic to the pollen on a real tree so we do what we can to have a festive environment. One of these years when she will not be around for Christmas, I will buy a 14' Noble for our living room and decorate it with hundred's of vintage ornaments (20's - 60's). Then to top it all off, I have 3 never opened boxes of real leaded tinsel as the finishing touch. Harkens back to 60's when I was growing up...

I do miss the smell.

Everything else, not so much.

Okay. That is a beautiful cat. Might be the best I have ever seen. Please tell me from a litter of regular tabbys/alley type cats? Or did you pay for that thing?
.
Gorgeous markings.
