Deschutes on fire again

We humans are quite the dumb bunch....smh

Not very far from the state park and the wind isn’t blowing. Yet. Hopefully they can get it out before that happens.
 
A mile from the mouth and on the east side. Sounds like a bike in camp to me. Most floaters have tables and dual burner stoves. Guess time will tell.
 
That is what I thought. My brother-in-law and I have a float in September. Hope the west side of the river is untouched. I have had one of the double burner Coleman propane stoves fail and catch on fire although not on the Deschutes. We caught it early and shut off the propane. I now have a Primus two burner stove that seems to be higher quality as well as a woven metal hose connecting it to the tank.
