Wouldn't have minded the River Salts in addition to my foot tractors but I'll just use the foot tractors and call it leg day.

Even if Patagonia decided to stop reconditioning the older Danner boots the soles are still stitched (and nailed?) on so a cobbler should be able to resole them.

I doubt the soles wear out before something else fails likely due to barnacles and oysters.
I’m not too worried though as Patagonia has had excellent customer service when I needed it.

Are we sure these are being discontinued. The pair I bought was from a similar sale a few years ago. They are great boots like the danner river grippers I had from the 90’s

They have a new River Salt boot coming out as @DimeBrite pointed out but not made by Danner, so I assume they’ll discontinue the current models which are on sale now. I may be wrong though.
