I’d go with the 7. I fish it on a 7wt ion XL and it’s light and balances the rod well. Nice to have some extra room for backing too.

Thanks for the link. I couldn’t find this exact one searching the Darkbeam store then finally saw your link.

I see they had some at 395nM and some at 365nM wavelength. Any idea which frequency light is better for curing UV resin?

Not quite sure which is better, from some poking around it seems either work. Found one person saying the 365 will cure epoxy resin faster. Probably a scientific answer out there but I did not find it :D

365 nM is a lower wavelength so thus a higher frequency, so closer to the true ultra violet range. I think. So im guessing it might kick the resin off a bit better. 🤔

Never saw or heard of these things. 🤔

Reminds me of the swim noodles some used with cut slits and pre-tied leaders and wrapped in some type of cloth with a couple big asparagus rubber bands holding it together.

Well, the deal is apparently still active if you change your mind. I felt bad about ordering 20 for $0.00 so I went back…and bought 5 more of each size. Christmas is coming, after all.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I got the last one haha. Any large in my cart was on back order as was any number of smalls greater than 1. $6 for a sushi roll ain’t bad.
 
Damn! I hope you like them! My middle size gets used the most.
