For those of you in the Spokane area who may have met this crotchety old boulder on the Spokane or Little Spokane.
Dave Rizzuto passed away suddenly today. Dave was my moms cousin and several years her senior, close to 40 years older than me. Dave didnt have much to say most of the time, and most of what he did have to say could be a bit abrasive.
But Dave loved fly fishing and always had a smile when he talked about it. And we spent hours and hours huddled away at weddings and reunions talking hatches and holding water. NE WA lost somebody who knew it intimately and loved it dearly.
Dave you will be missed. I hope you find some solitude on the river wherever you are. And some more fat browns.
