Cross Country Road trip

So…my wife and decided to to embark on a four week road trip starting in WA to the east coast and back…left July 11th

Late afternoon however…weather improved dramatically, as did the fishing. I was finally able to get a couple decent bows into the net

The next day on the upper Gallatin…it’s such a beautiful river…boulders and pocket water, I love this type of wade fishing

Typical Gallatin bow…morning picking them off in the pockets with a small olive bugger…later in the afternoon, multiple hatches including baetis, caddis and a rust colored moth…great fun on the 4wt

Finally made it back to our home state of WA…the Columbia river at the Gorge…only three more hours of driving

End of the trip…surprisingly good gas mileage for a 6.4 hemi. 20 states, just under 6900 miles, 115 hours of driving…now for an oil & filter change, tire rotation
