Crazy prices

That's a gas. An old friend of mine whose got a shop and guides in Northern CA knew I had that rod and wasn't using it anymore. He asked me if I'd consider selling it to one of his clients and so I did, for a whopping $250.00, but that was about six years ago. I'd have probably given it to the guy if he'd asked. I've never coveted my gear; I use it and when I'm done playing with it, I try to get it into the hands of someone who will appreciate it. But $1,300.00 - Wow, it's a nice rod, but not $1,300.oo nice.

The station owner was interviewed and he said that it was done because they also sell racing fuel, which is more expensive than regular gas and it's price is rising as well.

I'm sure the local Tweaker price is much lower.

Yup, fake news.

Always consider the source. And the source’s source. Did you catch the NY Post’s source for this story? I think a reliable news source would have confirmed the intel before publishing. But then it would not have fit the desired narrative.

Thinking about selling my Casa before I get too old to climb in and out of the back. It is a 2014 Ram 1500 4WD with a 3.6L V-6 that just turned 40,000 miles. New Falken AT-3W tires with less than 1,000 miles, ARE canopy with the raised rear section, and an 8 speed auto with Pedal Commander after market throttle control.
I think I will include everything that makes it special, a bed that makes into a chaise lounge, lots of LED lights, sink with water pump, Jackery 1000 with solar panel and electric refrigerator and a huge amount of custom storage for food, gear and clothing. It is by far the best equipped and most comfortable canopy arrangement I have ever seen, having been improved continuously for over 7 years now.

Given the price of new trucks and canopies $30K seems like a nice round number although it may actually be worth more due to it's unique nature. I may run this up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes.....

If someone in this state bought it you can basically add 10%... making it 1680.00 plus shipping of 36.00...

$1,700.00 + for that rod.

I've witnessed the continuing evolution of the Casa for the past couple of years. It's a highly functional and exquisite piece of artful craftmanship.

I have also seen Ive's Cruisin' Casa, amazing craftsmanship. Given his meticulous nature and knowing his penchant for doing things right, the truck at $30K is underpriced.

I went grocery shopping for the family yester and it seems like everything is $5 now. Even if it was $2-3 before. Every single damn item. So I just bought the off brands because I don’t give shit. All the nicer name brand products are going to have a wake up call when the entire country is buying Krogers brands or whatever store brands are available.
