Correcting braided line?

Life of the Party
My Dad is sending me random fly gear since he just turned 87.
I received a couple of clear lines that have a braided running line. Since I'm anal about line maintenance I immediately went to working out coils, straightening/ stretching....but also making sure the line wasn't rotten or had weak points.
Fished these lines today, heads were fine but the running line portions had memory which slightly improved but not by much.
I've read these are prone.
Any solutions to bringing them back around? Good lines which I want to use.
Thanks for any advice.

Is the core braid or mono? Many clear lines have mono cores so you can’t see the core and can have memory issues.

I had a couple of fast sinking lines that had a coated head and exposed braid for running line. They were terrible to fish with, because the running line was hard to handle and would burn your fingers if you had to deal with a running fish. I ended up cutting the running line off close to the head and splicing it into a loop, which I used with a coated running line. Worked well that way.

Affix one end to something stationary, like some mono wrapped around a pole up high and walk back. Then hold the full line in tension for a few minutes. Extend the length of time until memory is gone. Condition it before stretching.

Did this once on an old line and left it taught for an hour or so to remove memory doing so on a hot sunny day in a park. Not sure if it needed to be left that long but that’s what I did. Cleaned it while hanging too and reapplied dressing.

I had a clear intermediate line that coiled like an old telephone cord…..fished it a couple of times then threw it away!

Yes^ ...telephone cord.
The 10 wght line is the worst, if I can get it corrected the line is a good match for my two hand OH rod, so I'm hoping I can repurpose.

I might try soaking the lines in hot water, before applying tension. Sneaky suspicion that maybe I get them better, but then any amount of time on the reel will just mess them up again.
They both have a great even sink rate for intermediates which I like, so worth experimenting.
