Saw this at the Monroe Harbor Frieght this morning. Orvis has a similar and nicer box but this is a great deal and functional for tying materials. I will eventually pick one up..

Also stopped by an estate sale on Ben Howard road and found a nice roll top desk for $20! I wanted it but just don't have room for it atm. Very tempted though!

I own one of these. I wanted a Gerstner but the price, given my use case, was silly.

I had to go through and open three of them to find one that I'd accept, but I'm pretty happy. The drawer dividers are the same size as my thread spools, and tinsel.

Also picked these! Harbor freight is dangerous but I got some free microfiber towels! They had some free gloves and a cheap grabber for free. You can pick one of the items though..20250404_140016.jpg

I believe HF offers two size of these boxes. I have the larger and bought it when they were on sale… ‘bout half that price tag shown. Keep an eye out when that happens, they don’t stock many and they go quickly.

I also have this same box and use it as my travel box. The box is well laid out for fly tying tools and materials. I store my vise on the top shelve along with a light. The only downside to this box it is heavy,

Bought one of these off the MATCO dealer years back. Was being marketed as a machinists tool box.

I've seen those and thought they would make a nice travel setup. Also seen a pretty cool one at one of the craft stores I've gone to. Forget which one now.

HF also selling a new model 10' utility trailer for a grand that would work fine for a raft or pram.
Likely made in China, might turn out to be a real bargain in a few months the way things are going.
