College Football 2026

WTF! I watch football to get away from politics and political ads.

Edited to add:

I could care less about political ads. Especially from other states e.g. Texas and Georgia.

I even saw an ad for Washington state candidates tonight.

Please let us have some time away from all this political BS. We need some time to just enjoy getting away from it all and enjoying life....

There ought to be a law!

My wife and I fill out our mail in ballots the day we get them and I drop them off at a ballot box drive through the next day. So those running for whatever in Oregon are wasting money on TV commercials this late in the game. Most likely the majority of those who plan to vote in Oregon have already done so.

Oh well. Happens every election year. You'd think we'd be used to it by now.

In regards to the Ducks ... after they and others bailed out of the Pac 12 so only the Beavs and Cougs remained, I can't feel too bad about them losing games.

From the bad news I'm seeing regarding the OC and Dante Moore, I have a dismal feeling you'll get to not "feel too bad about them losing games" some more. Beavs look pretty good though. I'll cheer for them.

Yeah, well, that's what we figured but as I understand it, the super receiver will be here for at least another year. We don't know yet about the QB. "Beaver Nation" is accustomed to the rug yanked out from under us. The sudden departure of Johnathan Smith was typical. It is very difficult to find a positive Beaver fan ... and with good reason.

It would appear that loading the offensive line to give Raiola time to throw worked to perfection, He looked pretty damn good and threw some nice passes. It the D awhile to get it together but did well in the 2nd half. Good win. GO DUCKS!!!

I think ‘Breaking Away’ from Indiana might be a good choice. They have a QB thing now too.
If you have two Qb’s you have none. We’ll see.

By the way a very good movie.
 
Would love to see old skool Belichick and Patrino bring down the Canes from the undefeated ranks. Canes just kicked a field goal to lead 17 - 14 at the half.
