At least Noyre Dame is off to a good start...

"Camp Randall is a really tough place to play" quote from Joey Harrington. So the dawgs lost, yeehaw, but my Ducks narrowly escaped Iowa with a last second field goal which was nice but not the championship quality game that was impressive. Weather and injuries influenced both games. The remaining schedule is tough and winning out is unlikely but still a possibility. GO DUCKS !
Sappington's Kick Gives Ducks Win at Iowa
Atticus Sappington made a 39-yard field goal with 3 seconds left as the Ducks came from behind to beat the Hawkeyes.
FB Box Score: #9 Oregon 18, #20 Iowa 16

A win is a win. Congrats ducks. At the end of every season I don’t remember analysts and commentators going back in time reciting hiw close a game was. You win you win. There are no dominance points awarded. I like the larger playoff for teams who improve during the season. I don’t like the playoff system due to costs associated for those attending possibly multiple games for alum, fans, and especially for the student body. I’m not a rich guy but my student at college will have to decide which game they attend? πŸ˜†. The old system has I have mentioned before was a reward. You could travel to the bowl destination for a few days and take in the scenes and adventures provided. But it’s now a fly in late and fly out asap for students and fans. Just another American tradition being dissolved.

Sort of a cluster there at the end of regulation by both sides...

Tough day for two of the top ACC teams.
Georgia Tech has to be happy.

LSU fans will still blame today’s loss to Bama on Brian Kelly. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

When I was at the U, I think game tickets for students was $6. I probably couldn't afford a non-student ticket today.

At some schools your activity card is your admission ticket…..I believe for UW students the activity card is good for all sports minus football and basketball, which has an additional charge of $210.00 if you wish to attend football/basketball games in the student section. That works out to 30-35 bucks per football game. (Or less if you go to basketball games too)

My Hawaii Warriors are having a turnaround season, crushing conference leader San Diego St on Saturday and a chance to win the Mountain West Conference with two conference games left on the schedule...they will need a little help from Boise St & SDSU losses...

Go Bows!

The weirdness continues at LSU…they now claim they didn’t fire Kelly, and now would like to fire him β€œfor cause” so they wouldn’t have to pay him the buyout $$$…

Everyone is lining up for this job…

Oregon has to step it up and win it convincingly, not come from behind with 3 seconds on the clock.

Go Golden Gophers !!!
