I was pretty impressed by that BYU freshman QB. Big kid who can run. Bear seems an appropriate name. Wearing number 47 at QB is cool. He was also throwing passes to his brother who happens to be named Tiger.

NASCAR or Bassmaster uniforms coming soon to college football.

The 4th quarter of the Miami - FSU game seemed like it took a day to play. That FSU 17 play drive was pretty impressive and they made a game of it.

Both Penn St and Texas now have two losses. It will be interesting to see if either of them can still get into the CFP.

The easiest way is to let all players be free agents after each season since their scholarships are a series of one year contracts. Let the coaches make offers to continue or actually cut or inform players by 01/01 instead of degrading and making life miserable for those they no longer want and basically forcing the player to leave at a later date. Open market from 01/01 till 08/01 every year. It will allow time for coaches and players to evaluate their options more carefully after each season. 5 years to play 4 years. Instead of games make it quarters played to count as one year of completion. 16- 20 quarters per season? This will allow some players to participate in many more games if needed. This is no longer about the scholar athlete but the professional athlete …it is professional ball at the college level. It’s now business decision for each individual person involved. 😆

Having watched college football since the invention of television, it has now lost it's meaning and is no longer eagerly looked forward to. The breakup of the PAC 12 was the last straw but coaches getting millions of dollars while students graduate with thousands of dollars of debt also dimmed the product. It is now a low level pro product, and with the big schools beating the little ones by about 60 points parity is further away than ever.

Pro competition seems to be getting tighter while free agency in college has turned much competition into a farce.

Lol
I think they should just be traded like the chattel they are. As long as they are getting paid, may as well trade them. Schools like Stanford could trade good athletes for actual intelligent students who might go on to make a difference in the world for a guy who might play 8-10 years in the NFL to the SEC, where graduation isn't a priority..
(Historically, the SEC and ACC have been among the conferences with lower graduation success rates)
