NFR College Football 2025

A lot of fun watching the Dawgs play tonight. They are definitely better than I thought they would be. The O-line is playing very good considering it is only week 1. Over 500 yards of offense and the game is not even over... Defense is also playing well...

The Dawgs may surprise some teams in the Big 10 conference this year...

Neither state school looked like world beaters yesterday, but they pulled out wins. You never know what you’ll get in the first game of the year, right Bama? 😉
As much as it pains me to say it, go Canes! 😂

Yesterday was the first time I've paid attention to college football all year. I must have watched bits and pieces of like 8 different games, including WSU, some as little as just a few minutes. I tried listening to the UW game on the radio as ESPN Gamecast was not even working and finally went to bed when it was till tied at 21. They must have poured it on late.

If Kalen took UW to the championship game in 2 years, with the talent, hype, money, tradition, etc. at Bama, you'd think anything less is a complete and utter failure for him. Talk about pressure to win.

The Fighting Irish name came about as a result of Notre Dame students ( many being Catholic which to the KKK was not much better than the ethnic groups they despised) taking on a bunch of KKK marchers in 1920s in Indiana. The KKK was trying to recruit state legislators and politicians in the Midwest in this time period with the eventual goal of Senators, Governors and even President. A great book on the topic is:

Anything Timothy Egan has written is golden.

The Golden Dome and Touchdown Jesus....
:)
Remember the first time I saw them almost 60 years ago now.

Here's hoping for another good year for The Irish, and another run in the CFP.

The UW game was supposed to be on FS1 on DirecTV. It wasn't, probably due to blackout restrictions. I tried to listen to the game but it was not cutting it. So I went to FoxSports.com and I was pleasantly surprised I could watch it from there (had to log onto my ISP). The ability to watch the offensive line blow holes in the CSU defense, watch an interception and a couple of near ones, and watch the UW defense tear-up CSU made for an fun and entertaining evening, for sure. What UW showed they could do and only being week 1, it will be interesting to watch them this year...

Found this last week, seems like after reading reviews on it's decent, but can't cast on the free version. Surprised to see all the ncaa games yesterday were available.
Might be good when traveling or for mobile devices..

Do you get the Big Ten network? That's the network I watched the game on.

I have Spectrum here in WW and I could watch the game on B1G also, on my phone at the rodeo. Pretty cool.
Looked like a typical Husky team early, playing well enough....... but I sure was nervous for 3 quarters. Somehow I always think their about to coug it, then play well enough late to put it away. Coleman is sure fun to watch. Hope he and the line have a good year, when the Huskies can run they end up having a fine season.

Go Coogs !!!

They Beaved it...other than that, learn to snap the ball.

Smu/Baylor game was fun to watch.
