College Football 2024

So we could potentially see a Michigan Wolverine play in September and suit up for OSU Buckeyes in November? Lose your starting QB in week 2 and face against him in week 8? This will be wild. This is truly free market.

“The NCAA can not prevent a player from unenrolling from a university and enrolling in a new university and competing immediately”.

No need for a portal!!!!!!

What a cluster.... smh

I like the playoff format because it stops the b.s. about a trio of SEC schools always being the best, and truly seems to show which teams are the best that year.

What I don't like is all the neo NFL garbage that has been allowed to take place. What it shows is just how badly some players are gaming their schools to actually prime up and springboard into the NFL for their shot at potential millions.

At this point, definitely if the NCAA still exists in any form, it just needs to be dissolved and replaced with something with backbone that's not beholding to the NFL, or financial institutions.

Not being in a conference netted ND a cool 20 mil...

They could have done this a long time ago, but thanks to the NCAA digging in their heels and doing nothing, we find ourselves where we are today with NIL etc.
All of this could have been easily avoided.
Good luck to some schools finding an extra $20 mil when they already have huge deficits in their athletic departments.

I saw there was some set aside money for former players as well....
