College Football 2024

Maybe it's the big ol' Zero on the helmets...

This is a nasty gauntlet to get to national championship. I do believe eventually those who are second tier will stop playing because these games will not advance their professional opportunities…. The other high profile players will play due to their NIL commitments…. Gonna be interesting.

Release the Quacken...
🤣
Any time now...

So far, all the bye teams have lost. Will Georgia continue that trend or buck it?
Notre Dame will win is my guess, Georgia with a second string QB and all.
So far, my bracket is perfect...so by my pointing that out it is almost certain to flop.
😅

After watching the Ducks and how out of sync they were, I have to give the bye a curse...

Maybe down the road, go to 16 teams. Conference champs can still get an automatic bid. First two rounds at campus sites. And seed teams

And close the portal during playoffs. Players can/will sit out, like they always had that choice.

Marshall could not even field a team for a bowl game with 20 players entering the portal.

Ducks game 0 plan was incapable of matching firepower...run on first and second, throw short of the first down on third. On D the corners got absolutely torched and their safeties were MIA.
That receiver on the other side was flat out explosive, surprising he's not coming out in the draft, top 5 pick for sure.

He's only a freshman, so as of now he has to play two more years to be eligible for the draft. I wouldn't be surprised to see that rule change in the future as well. Though with the current state of NIL, a kid who is a great player could set himself up rather nicely for the future even without a NFL career by playing four years of college ball.

Geno Smith's cousin...

Well things changed fast there at the end of the half.
😁

Damn it. Just turned on the game to see that ND returned opening 3rd quarter kickoff for a TD. I screwed up as I thought the game was starting 4pm PST.
