I think this may have been encouraged by his 24 year old girlfriend, Jordan. While he’s breaking down film 16 hours in his office and on the recruiting trail she’s gonna need a few young Tar Heels to mow and trim the the lawn, paint the house, and of course a pool boy to attend to the ph balance, and all the other chemicals needed, etc.

Odd choice. Fire a 73 yo to hire a 72 year old who has never coached college ball or dealt with NIL or the transfer portal.
He better hire a hell of a staff to deal with all that shit.
Steve likes coaching college kids but I don’t think he enjoys recruiting. I heard him on a podcast with the Long brothers shortly after he was hired. He mentioned “and tomorrow I need to call a 14 year old.” It will be interesting to see how this ends up.

Judy, somehow that reminds me of a joke I heard over 50 years ago. I can't remember it exactly but after decades I'll paraphrase:
An elderly couple were taking a walk in the park when a duck appeared on the path. The old man lifted his cane and pointed it at the duck and said "BANG!" The duck dropped dead. A few minutes later another duck appeared and again the old man pointed his cane at the duck and said "BANG" and again the duck flopped over dead. Feeling good about himself he was eager to find another duck and soon did. As he started to lift his cane towards the duck it dropped dead before he could aim. Behind him was a man shooting with a real gun.

Our family is half Ducks and half Cougars. The Cougs will get to enjoy the Holiday Bowl. We went to this game when the Ducks played Oklahoma (we lost). Rented a house for a week in La Jolla and enjoyed the partying, the nice warm sunshine and old town San Diego. It was a great time except for losing the game. If I was younger I'd borrow my grandson's Coogie hat and go again. It should be a great game too. GO COUGS. GO DUCKS. By the way we used to go to all the Duck -Cougar games in Pullman and at one game a guy pulled up in his motor home with a sign in the windshield that said "He's a Cougar, she's a Duck, they both agree the huskies suck" Loved it.
