College Football 2023

Beware what you wish for…most likely Michigan

People thought the same thing last year about TCU.
They got in and nobody expected them to.
Undefeated yet 9.5 point underdawgs. Playing with house money now. Us Dawg fans will enjoy the ride regardless of any future outcomes. RIP PAC 12.

The tragedy is not who lost tonight. The tragedy is the loss to the students, players, alumni, and the history of over 100 years coming to an end.

The powers to be: conference admins, the NCAA, TV contracts and those that manage them, and football , are all at fault.

RIP PAC-12. It was a great run.

What do you think would happen if the SEC disappeared like what happened to the PAC-12?

I hope the UDub coaches get the recognition they deserve for this entire crazy season and the faith they had in their team. Some mighty big cojones there.

Haven't been this happy from a football game in a long time. UW coaching has been pretty incredible. Glad to see some humility, team love, and recognition from the players. I can't help but think that comes from coaching.

Vegas can suck it.

Wouldn't it be great if there were four more upsets tomorrow?

I hope for some great games. I’m going to watch games all day and tie a bunch of flies.
College football even for all its current issues is still my favorite sport to watch by a mile.
Kick-off at 9:00 for Texas vs Oklahoma State.

Interesting thought. Would that mean UW would go into the national championship playoffs as the number 1 seed? Almost seems like they function better as an underdog. Regardless you gotta think whomever they play will be taking them seriously.

Best Huskies team in my lifetime (born in ‘01). Tears of joy seeing this team win like this. My grandpa who owned season tickets for decades would have been very proud seeing this team.

To all of you who have followed the Huskies longer than I have: Would you now say that Penix is the greatest Husky quarterback ever?

One of the best, just because the game is different now. They didn’t used to throw it as much and he isn’t the dual threat like Tui was with his legs. There were some other great QBs but they played a different style of ball.
As far as throwing it, he is likely the best.
