College Football 2023

Maybe they will, but I don’t think at this point in the season a 12-0 team ranked #4 losing to a 11-1 team ranked #6 in the CFP rankings is “Coug’n it”.
No doubt Oregon is playing better right now. I hope Huskies go into the game as an underdog, which I think they will be.

I get your Coug’n it comment
It gets a little old sometimes for us Coug fans
Cougs have owned it
I think the Ducks are just playing on the other side of the curve right now
Gonna be fun

I agree. Looking forward to the game on Friday.

I'm glad a Washington Team made it to next Friday.

When UW played Oregon previously, I thought if those two team played each other 10 times, they would each win 5. So yeah, I'm nervous about Friday's game.

Briefly thought about hey, wouldn't it be fun to go to the game in LV? Well, with tickets around $200 up in the nosebleed section ($600 down near the ground) and airfare ranging from $300 to $600, I came back to reality and realize that I can see a game better on my TV screen than I ever could in person. Being a serious or hard core football fan is clearly beyond what I'm willing to budget.

Not to mention plays not seen (time lost) in lines for refreshements or eliminating refreshments.....you can probably buy a 6-pack for the price of one plastic cup ale there...I'm sure the beer is 12-15.00 and a soda 5-6.00. :(

Having been to a lot of live sporting events in the past, I can assure you there won't be many in the future...probably only local High School games.
Once you've stood in line once, you've stood in line enough...
;)

As far as live college/pro sports the only venue I’m interested in is Martin Stadium
Wouldn’t mind going to the Vegas place maybe one time

What a season for the Huskies! The games have been amazing and down to the wire. It's not easy when you have a #4-6 by your name most of the season, you get everyone's best shot. Every week it's, "that was close, if they continue to play like that, The next one won't end as well...."

Well, all they have done is win....and win.....and win.......19 straight f'n times

I said take your screen shots, and I'm going to say it again... UW rolls Oregon.

DeBoer is a winner, 3 NAIA titles, finds ways to get it done, stone cold killer

Oregon is a paper tiger, always has been, always will. The Zeros are rolling, playing better than the Dawgs for sure. It's easy to see the trajectory of this game, Ducks -9 , easy money. Every logical pundit will pick them. It's a sure bet that Oregon will win and Nix gets his Heisman. It's a dream come true for the Ducks.

Come get it

Some more coaches getting canned today.
$14.8 million buyout for Dana Holgerson at Houston. If I was Dana, I’d be doing a lot of fishing with that coin. 😂
I wonder if Jimbo would join him? They could make up the $90 million plus bass fishing team.

I've often thought being so bad at your job that your employer pays you not to do it anymore is something worth exploring...
;)

I got a little carried away!

I was hoping @bobduck would put me in my place
Well here I am........So used to hush puppy trash talk. Gatherings at my favorite watering hole usually are comprised of two Ducks vs half a dozen dawgs so I get it all the time. Well for 12 straight years they were pretty much silent but win a couple games and they're howling again. When you call us paper tigers you should put the emphasis on "tigers". A very good friend and dawg fan told me his boy hated the Ducks so bad he wouldn't even say the word Duck. I told him as a dawg fan its his job to hate the Ducks. It has become a good heated rivalry and although I don't like the demise of the conference I am glad to see our rivalry will continue .

Would that team get a little added scrutiny at the weigh-ins?

They’d be stuffing football rather than weights down the fish’s throat prior to weight in. Easier to do with largemouth bass versus walleye…..

Lots of unhappy college football fans out there in regards to their coaches.
One fan posted the the M on Minnesota’s helmets stands for mediocre. Lots of heat on PJ Fleck.
