College Football 2023

The pac-12 will be the big time this year. So OSU and wazuu must remind them every day of why they cowardice out of this conference. Because everyone beats up on everyone in this conference. Yeah they do. But if you escape, and that is the word escape, without losing, most likely your not losing rest of the year. 😉
 
It's amazing that 7 of the top 25 teams are from the PAC 12, a conference that won't exist next year. Whatever the reason(s), it's just stupid!

Speaking of that, regardless of what you think of Deion, it's absolutely insufferable that the announcers call him "Coach Prime". Or do coaches just get to pick a nickname now? I wonder if that will work into NIL stuff? Coach Triple Parlay brought to you by BetMGM?

I mean, say what you will, he's already two wins above what COL had last year. And while I suspect they will get stomped by the big dogs, there is a path for them to get to more wins this year. They have unranked AZ, AZ State, and Stanford on the schedule. I'm not sure what coach would have done better with the mess that COL was last year. Overhyped or not, if he gets them to 5 wins, that's a huge improvement. If he gets them to 6 and a bowl game, they'll give him a raise and a new limo.

I admit I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. I don't love Deion himself (remember when his joke "Prime Prep" school misused money that was supposed to feed poor kids?) and find his whole deal tiring and fake. But on the other hand, I'm absolutely on team #DEATHTOTHENCAA after all the stupid crap they've pulled and lies they've told. So part of me enjoys anything that the college football "establishment" hates. Watching a guy use the NCAA's rules against itself? That's fun.

I guess I just enjoy watching the chaos no matter how it ends up. But I admit, I'm more someone who follows college football more than I am a dedicated fan.
 
This huge beat down and embarrassment will really show if he is even a coach much less a good coach. Each player has had taste of what they could be. How each player responds will also be telling.

Glad they are not my team too.

I do not remember ever seeing so may PAC games/teams on tv in one weekend. Normally one or two. So much fun watching game after game. Still more to watch tonight...
