I think I went through a case of Zep Smoke and Odor eliminator a few years ago. After evicting a non-paying renter (8 months), I went into the house and literally gagged. He seemed to take advantage of my late father's health issues and ignored the no smoking policy. Cigarette, cannabis and just filthy old man. I scrubbed the walls, floors and even the ceilings. I then did multiple applications of de-odorizer and ultimately succeeded. However, it took time.
