NFR Classic Car Season

Non-fishing related
Early 70's my ride was a 65 Nova SS, black with red leather buckets. Powered with a 327 bored 30 over and a 283 crank, 202 heads and high compression pistons 13 to 1, a duel point duel coil ignition, 3/4 cam. headers and 4 on the floor. A Holley carb sat atop a high rise manifold but I don't remember what I ended up with
The motor was balanced Which added a lot to the top end. The local constabulary literally hated my glass packs and 4 inch exhaust

Pretty fast for a street rod. ran in low 12s and broke into high 11's a few times. 12's with the headers closed and 11's with the headers opened up.

I remember I had to run Chevron white pump, Custom? I think and maybe Union 76 had a high octane blend at that time. I think I had to
pay "GASP" 38 cents a gallon or about that.

Really clean TJ brah.
Thanks! I've enjoyed that problem over a lifetime since '71, lol. The TJ will soon go to my Daughter.
