NFR Cheap trail cam

Non-fishing related

Yard Sale

Life of the Party
I think we get some interesting critters in our back yard. I'm on a suburban street on the edge of a fairly small town and we have a swath of brambles behind our fence. I know we have some regular cougar sightings in the area but also want to see what else is roaming around back there. Might be fun to take on some river trips too since I've found some fresh tracks in the morning before.

I don't need anything fancy, just looking for a cheapo trail cam. Doesn't need to be wireless or even waterproof. Definitely want to keep it under $100.

Any suggestions on a non-spectacular but solid cam?

just poking around on Amazon, there seem to be a bunch under your price range....You're probably looking for real life experience with them though.

now I'm looking for one! would be kinda cool to see what pokes around both the back and front yard. dogs have access to the back yard, but not the front. I've seen all sorts of critters in the neighborhood over the years.

I can pay it forward with a Spypoint a friend told me to keep. I don't need it anymore as I've upgraded.

I like the browning ones and they have quite a few sales. Worked well last hunting season.

I've gone thru several and you'll probably be surprised what's prowling around your backyard @ night. First bought a Browning but it crapped out after 6 months. The one I have now I bought off Amazon based on reviews. Decided I wanted one that had a solar panel for charging, the one I bought was about $60 and has been awesome so far (going on 8 months).

I knew there were raccoons in the backyard, I've taken pics in daylight of the young ones in our pine tree. But now I've got some cool pics of Coyotes and video of a Bobcat using the trail along our fence in the early morning hours.

Pretty cool, every time I pop the micro SD it's like Christmas, seeing who's visited our property.

Be a bit careful with the cheap ones on Amazon. The one I bought has poor video quality - especially at night. Also chews through batteries much faster than my low end Browning models.

I'm offering a TRAIL CAM that has a built in bear that goes RAHHH every 15 mins. On the dot. You'll just be filming the trail at night. Its all black then all of a sudden the BIG BEAR FACE appears!!! RAAAHH!!! then it goes away. Every 15 mins!! Built in feature on the TRAIL CAM i'm offerin.

I spilled a pile of bird seed yesterday, so I set up the camera to see what I would capture. Not the best photos, but for what I will use the camerA and for $30 I can't complain.
