I have this exact same setup and used it for years. I also have an Islander with IMX SteelheadPro centerpin rod and I think the Raven combo casts and fishes better. Raven makes extremely good centerpin stuff and the older rods are the noodlier style you want. I am tempted to buy this but have so much centerpin stuff already…
